Kensington Soccer Club Celebrates the End of the Academic Year with OST Programs

Kensington Soccer Club currently has 7 OST programs at Philadelphia Schools. At each program, coaches lead children of different ages in activities to help them build skills in soccer.

Our OST program is one of our larger school partnerships. The OST (Out of School Time) program was developed in response to the need for safe activities for children after school. Many in the educational community know of the importance of afterschool enrichment programming for positive social and psychological development. More broadly, parents are always interested in providing access to opportunities that build athletic and academic skills. Our OST program is one of multiple initiatives - specifically in the Teen and Adult Programs - to provide Kensington, and the greater Philadelphia-area youth with programs that promote positive development, and promote violence prevention.

As the school year concluded, Kensington Soccer Club celebrated the end of successful programs with book distribution through our SAVE program as well as a special Family Day celebration on June 3rd, 2023.

We are grateful for all of those involved in the development of these programs, and for the funding from Philadelphia School District to provide affordable and quality soccer to children afterschool.
