Affordable housing, food security, employment assistance, early childhood education, foster care and adoption, substance abuse treatment, and behavioral health across Philadelphia and Montgomery County (all sites here).

Congreso de Latinos Unidos

Large Kensington community services organization serving key areas including Education, Workforce, Family Services, Housing, Health, and wellness.

Impact Services

Community Development Corporation with 4 main focus areas.

  • Jobs: Focused on those re-entering the workforce after incarceration or military service, but open to anyone.

  • Housing: Focused on veterans and their families as well as those living unhoused.

  • BenePhilly Resource Navigation: Trained counselors that help families determine if they qualify for over 20 public assistance programs.

Kensington Voice

Voice is the community’s hub for residents’ stories, updates on development and special events, jobs, and more community resources. Kensington residents can even be featured in the newspaper and receive a $75 gift card for their contribution!

New Kensington Community Development Corporation (NKCDC)

A long-time partner of Kensington Soccer Club, NKCDC supports the community in many ways, including:

  • Homeowners’ & Renters’ services: From buying your first home to bill payment, to affordable repairs. https://nkcdc.org/housing-services/ 

  • Safety: NKCDC is hosting cleanups, demonstrations, and other events to promote the safety of our community and replace unsafe activities with events that uplift the community.   • Community Health Workers: Health doesn’t just mean going to the doctor. NKCDC CHWs assist residents with navigating social services and improving their quality of life so they can be as healthy as possible.
