Join us on Saturday, January 20th, 2024 for an interactive candlemaking activity sponsored by Palmy Greetings! Candles will be made at our clubhouse on 3400 J. Street, where we can also learn about the Girls Empowerment Initiative.

For $10, you can learn how to make your own candle led by Communications Director Gabrielle L. Peterson. With your ticket you will receive all of the materials required to make a candle and will be guided on heating and pouring the wax.

Proceeds from the event will go towards Kensington Soccer Club’s Girls Empowerment Initiative. Our Initiative led by Brianna Banks MSW, with activities hosted by Coach and Boardmember Carly Najera has a great list of events that we would like to support. This workshop is open to attendees of all ages. Those who are under 13 will need to have a chaperone present, or sign a release form (provided after registration).

Our Seven Out of School Time (OST) Schools will be participating in a competitive soccer tournament. This is our first time hosting this event, and we are excited for children who have been playing and practicing with us in OST programs to have the opportunity to play against children from our other OST programs.

This event is solely for children who participate in our OST programs. If you are interested in playing recreational or competitive soccer, visit our Program Directory to learn more about the opportunities to play.

Official Time & Location will be kept private to protect the children’s safety.

Our longest-standing tradition will be back again in November! Join us for our Fall Family Day in November to celebrate the end of our Fall Travel and Recreation (Juniors) season. We take pride in honoring our athletes’ accomplishments with medals, and other prizes. In addition to our awards ceremony, we distribute books and resources to the community. See you there?

If you missed the Fairplay Cup in May, you don’t want to miss this upcoming event with SafeHub! While formerly recreation programs did not have competition embedded, our partnership with SafeHub allows us to offer a competition for our youth in our KSC Juniors Program.
