Hissey Playground Soccer Camp Ends with Celebration

KENSINGTON, Pa. — For the span of two weeks (Aug. 9-20), Kensington Soccer Club led soccer clinics at Hissey Playground’s annual soccer camp and at the conclusion of camp, campers were invited to an end-of-camp celebration where they were given free soccer balls, books, backpacks, food, and haircuts.

The Hissey Playground Summer Camp is an effort made possible with the help of the DEA Educational Foundation and Philadelphia’s 24th Police District, with additional support from Iglesia del Barrio and Councilwoman Maria Quiñones Sánchez.

Alberto was the communications coordinator at Kensington Soccer Club from 2021-2022. He did a great job highlighting the incredible work at Kensington Soccer Club with his web and graphic design, media relations, and coverage of milestones in KSC history.
