After-School Soccer Coach
Our curriculum is Soccer For Success, which incorporates health/nutrition education, anti-violence components, and mentorship along with fun soccer activities designed to build skills and teamwork. The schedule depends on how many sites you coach. Each site is at least two days a week, usually from 3:30 to 5pm with the possibility of Saturday and evening sessions for some coaches. We have 20 sites, with different schedules so we can find a site to fit your schedule.
Teen Leadership Initiative (Summer and School-Year Paid Coaching Internships)
Kensington Soccer Club has designed the Teen Leadership Initiative program to offer teens an opportunity to build job skills and leadership while lifting the whole community. By investing in our teens as coaches, we provide positive role models for our younger children, we create a community atmosphere that values and celebrates lifting each other up instead of tearing each other down, and we develop our own expert coaches and mentors who will continue as coaches and community leaders long after graduating high school.
The Kensington Soccer Club has positions open through the nationally renowned Coach Across America, the first national service program to identify and train young adults to coach and mentor kids in low income communities.
