SPRING LEAGUE
TEAMWORK, EXERCISE, FUN!
Kick-Off Day April 20 --- Season Ends June 22

Who:

• Boys and Girls Ages 3-19 (split into separate age groups)
• Beginners are very welcome. If you’ve never played before, we’ll teach you!

When:

• Games Saturdays April 20th—June 22nd
• Ages 3 to 4 play 10:00am to 11:00am
• Ages 5 to 7 play 10:00am to 11:15am
• Ages 8 to 10 play 11:30am to 12:45pm
• Ages 11 to 13 play 1:00pm to 2:15pm
• Ages 14 to 19 play 2:30 to 5:15pm
• Age groups and times subject to change depending on numbers of players and volunteer coaches.

Where:

• Nelson Playground's Casiano Field (Dauphin St and Leithgow St next to Welsh Elementary School).
• Practices for younger players two weekday evenings at Rivera Recreation Center at 5th & Allegheny.
• Practices for high school players after school once or twice a week.
• Exact schedule of practice times and days will be announced when we have final registration numbers.

How Much:

• Sliding scale of $5 to $30. Pay what you can. If you cannot afford at least $5, scholarships are available.
• If you have the money, please contribute more to help us run a high quality program.
• PAY ON KICKOFF DAY- APRIL 20 at the Casiano Field – Dauphin and Leithgow.
• Player must pay or receive scholarship before playing.

Details:

• All players get a team shirt and soccer socks but supply their own shorts.
• We provide cleats & shin guards on loan. You pay a deposit of $3 for shin guards and $10 for cleats that will be returned to you when you return the equipment. Players can wear sneakers or their own cleats if they prefer.
• Healthy snacks are provided and practices include nutrition education through our Soccer for Success program.
• Players get medals at our Family Celebration at the end of the season.
• Optional academic (SMART) and other enrichment programs will be available.
• Our Spring League partners are the J.T. Dorsey Foundation, U.S. Soccer Foundation, and Nelson Playground Rec Center.

Register by APRIL 12; first come first served. Late registrants put on waiting list.

• Nelson Playground Office at the corner of 3rd St and Cumberland St. Monday to Friday 4:00pm to 8pm.

• Print the attached KSC Spring 2013 Registration Page 1 and Page 2 below.
• Make sure you fill out all the spaces on both pages and sign them in the two places required.

EJERCICIO, DIVERSIÓN, TRABAJO EN EQUIPO!
Empezar (Kick-Off): 20 de abril - Temporada Termina: 22 de junio

Quien:

• Niños y Niñas de 3 a 19 años dividos por edades.
• No importa si tiene experiencia. Si no sabe jugar, le enseñamos!

Cuando:

• Partidos Sábado 20 de abril a 22 de junio
• Edades 3 a 4 juegan 10:00am a 11:00am
• Edades 5 a 7 juegan 10:00am a 11:15am
• Edades 8 a 10 juegan 11:30am a 12:45pm
• Edades 11 a 13 juegan 1:00pm a 2:15pm
• Edades 14 a 19 juegan 2:30pm a 5:15pm
• Grupos de edades y horario puede cambiar dependiendo en los numeros de jugadores y técnicos voluntarios.

Donde:

• Nelson Playground Casiano Field (Dauphin & Leithgow, al lado de Welsh Elementary School).
• Prácticas para jugadores jovenes dos días de la semana en Centro Recreativo Rivera en calle 5 y Allegheny.
• Prácticas para jugadores adolescentes después de escuela una o dos veces cada semana.
• Días y horas de práctica serán anunciadas cuando tenemos números finales de jugadores registrados.

Cuanto vale:

• De $5 a $30. Pague lo que usted pueda. Si no puede pagar un mínimo de $5, ofrecemos becas.
• Si usted tiene el dinero, por favor contribuir más para ayudarnos a ejecutar un programa de alta calidad.
• PAGUE EL PRIMER DÍA – el 20 de abril en la cancha Casiano en calle Dauphin y Leithgow.
• Jugador debe pagar o recibir beca antes de jugar.

Detalles:

• Jugadores reciben camiseta y calcetines pero usan sus propios pantalones cortos.
• Proveemos equipo en prestamo con una consignación de $3 para protectores y $10 para zapatos de fútbol. El dinero sera devuelto a cuando el equipo sea entregado al club. Se puede usar zapatos de tenis o baloncesto si prefiere.
• Comida saludable será proporcionado asi como educación nutricional a través de nuestro programa Soccer for Success.
• Los jugadores reciben medallas en la DIA DE LA FAMILIA al final de la temporada.
• Programa de enriquecimiento académico (SMART) está disponible si le interesa.
• Nuestros socios en la Liga de Primavera: J.T. Dorsey Foundation, U.S. Soccer Foundation y el Nelson Playground.
