Two KSC Players receive SCOP Youth Image Awards

Congratulations to KSC members YanCarlo Corredor and Danielle Chattin. They were awarded the Support Community Outreach Program (SCOP) Youth Image Award at a ceremony on Saturday . SCOP is funded by the Philadelphia Department of Human Services and in turn gives grants to dozens of groups, including the Kensington Soccer Club, allowing us to reach out to more young people.

Danielle has been playing with KSC since 2010, and is currently the goalkeeper for the u19 girls team and a squad member for Penn State Brandywine soccer team. YanCarlo has played for KSC since 2012 and is a star player for the KSC u14 boys.

In addition to all-star turns on their KSC teams, Danielle and YanCarlo have volunteered countless hours, helping the organization and its kids in many ways and serving as informal mentors and positive examples for other club members.
