Cutting the Ribbon on a new mini-court

On October 19, 2017, Kensington Soccer Club saw the opening of a new state-of-the-art mini-court at 3781 Jasper Street, in partnership with Street Soccer USA.

The court was officially opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Speakers at the ribbon cutting included Lawrence Cann - Street Soccer USA, Brian Murray - Shift Capital, Sharon Powell - Comcast, Councilwoman María Quiñones-Sánchez, and Christopher Munden and Jonah Anderson of KSC. Salvador Carrillo of the city champion KSC U9 Brown Eagles cut the ribbon. Also in attendance were: professional women's soccer players Ashley Nick and Lianne Sanderson.

Huge thanks go to those who made it possible: Street Soccer USA, Shift Capital, XFINITY Live! Philadelphia, Impact Services Corporation, U.S. Soccer Foundation, Sport Court, Casa Soccer League, JT Dorsey Foundation and many others who have volunteered, donated and helped the Kensington Soccer Club grow and thrive.
