The Kensington SC Dragons (u8 boys) are one of 15 KSC teams playing futsal this winter, providing pay-what-you-can competitive opportunities for about 150 kids. These photos by journalist Richard Crawley are from the Dragons' game against Roxborough United on January 27, 2018.
During the recent United Soccer Coaches national convention in Philadelphia, the Cloud 9 Sky Blue FC Supporters group hosted a National Women's Soccer League draft after-party. The group held a raffle that raised several hundred dollars for the Kensington Soccer Club!
Videographer Merrill McDowell, a longtime KSC supporter and parent of two boys on the team (Ayaan and Adam) filmed a recent game and made a mini movie of the highlights of exciting action.
To celebrate the end of our fall outdoor season at Casiano Field at Third and Dauphin streets, we had a family celebration. Players from our intramural and travel teams received free books, medals, gifts, and trophies. Kids and families enjoyed a variety of food and refreshments.
